What the calculator is doing
For standard custom-order relationships, flap-to-rough-opening adds 2 inches to width and 1⅜ inches to height. Rough-opening-to-tip-to-tip adds 1¼ inches to both dimensions. The cover relationship is rough-opening width minus 1⁄16 inch and height plus ⅛ inch. Tunnel-rivet build dimensions subtract ¼ inch from the measured actual rough opening.
Use this as a planning and order-entry aid. Custom production dimensions should always be reviewed against the selected model, installation surface and final opening before an order is released.
