Does this pet door open automatically?+
Yes. The motorized panel opens for a recognized ultrasonic collar approaching the door and closes after the pet passes. It is different from electronic flaps that only unlock and still require the pet to push through.

The local controls support entry-only, exit-only, full-access and locked modes. WiFi models add app controls, schedules, activity history and selected notifications.
What happens during a power outage?+
The door uses the included AC power supply. A compatible rechargeable backup battery is optional and should be matched to the selected PX or PXR model before ordering.
